Who is Lester Barrie?
Lester Barrie is an LA based stand-up comedian and Christian preacher.
From 2006 until early 2009, he co-hosted Spread the Word with Andre Russell on Inglewood based 102.3FM KJLH on Sunday nights. He also hosted one season of BET's Comic View in 1999. He is a native of Chicago, IL and graduate of University of Southern California with a BA in Communications. He also guest starred on several episodes of Fox's & Sci-Fi Networks Sliders and co-starred in the Wayan's Bros. film Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood as the Preacher. Barrie appeared on Martin Lawrence's First Amendment on Starz Network in 2009 while he makes frequent appearances at the Laugh factory in Hollywood, CA.
Lester Barrie now serves as the Pastor of Perfecting Christian Fellowship, a young, bible based, non-denominational church that began April 2006. Barrie now leads the "Full-Impact" movement of Christian dating and lifestyle.
