Who is Letitia Vriesde?

Letitia Alma Vriesde is a track and field athlete from Suriname. Her main event is the 800 m. She is the first sportsperson from Surinam to compete at five Olympic Games. Vriesde holds the South American records for 800 m, 1000 m and 1500 m and also for 3000 m.
