Linda Deliah Thompson is an American politician and former mayor of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania serving from January 4, 2010, until January 6, 2014. Thompson was Harrisburg's first female and first black mayor. On May 21, 2013 Thompson lost her bid for renomination, placing third in the Democratic Party primary behind Eric R. Papenfuse, who won the nomination, and City Controller Dan Miller, who placed second.
