Who is Lori Lansens?
Lori Lansens is a Canadian novelist and screenwriter. She was a successful screenwriter, whose credits included the films South of Wawa, Wolf Girl and Marine Life, before publishing her first novel Rush Home Road in 2002.
Lansens' follow-up novel, The Girls, was featured as a book-club pick by the Richard & Judy Show in the UK, selling over 400,000 copies. The book received recognition as a 2007 Best Book for Young Adults from the American Library Association.
Her most recent book, The Wife's Tale, was published in 2012.
Born and raised in Chatham, Ontario, Lansens now makes her home in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
