Who is Louis Dorren?
Louis Dorren is an American engineer.
In 1969 Louis "Lou" Dorren invented the Quadraplex system of single station, discrete, compatible four-channel FM broadcasting. He founded Quadracast Systems, Inc. of Palo Alto, California, United States to license his patents to RCA and others.
Dorren was awarded more than a dozen patents in the radio communications field, many of which are still in use today.
