Who was Louis Riché?
Louis Riché, was a French sculptor in bronze.
His first exhibition was held at the Salon de Paris in 1896 at the age of nineteen. He was fond of sculpting animals, his favourite subjects being German Shepherd Dogs. Except during World War I and World War II, the Salon continued exhibiting his work throughout his lifetime. He used the Thiebaut Freres and Risler & Carré foundries for the casting of his work.
