Who is Luc Angers?

Luc Angers is a Quebec politician in Gatineau, Quebec. He is the councillor of the district of Les Promenades District in the Gatineau sector.

Angers studied and received degrees at three different universities. He received a bachelor's degree in education at the University of Toronto and obtained a master's degree in that domain at the University of Ottawa. He also received a degree in health sciences at the Liberty University in Virginia. He would later become a teacher for 15 years in Ottawa and was part of the Commission Scolaire des Draveurs school board administration.

Angers was a candidate in the ward in the 2005 municipal elections and defeated incumbent and former Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival president Paul Morin.

In addition to being an administration staff member at the CEGEP de l'Outaouais, Angers has also been involved in various associations in the Pointe-Gatineau area as a volunteer.

During his council term he set up two key priorities suggested by citizens in his district: public safety and infrastructure.
