Who is Magdi Abdelghani?

Magdi Abdelghani Sayed Ahmed, known as Abdelghani, is an Egyptian retired footballer who played as an attacking midfielder.

He played most of his professional career, which spanned nearly 15 years, with Al-Ahly and Beira-Mar.

Abdelghani represented Egypt at the 1990 World Cup, scoring the team's only goal in the tournament, against Netherlands in a 1-1 draw.
