Who is Mandy Planert?
Mandy Planert is a German slalom canoer who competed from the early 1990s to the late 2000s.
She won six medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with three golds and three silvers.
She is the overall World Cup champion in K-1 from 2002. She won a total of 7 medals at the European Championships.
Planert also competed in two Summer Olympics, earning her best finish of sixth in the K-1 event in Sydney in 2000.
