Mara G. Aspinall

Who is Mara G. Aspinall?

Mara Aspinall joined Genzyme in 1997. She is responsible for the

Genzyme Genetics business unit, which includes nine laboratories across

the United States and operations in Japan. Prior to becoming president

of Genzyme Genetics in 2001, Ms. Aspinall was president of Genzyme

Pharmaceuticals. She has also served as Genzyme’s vice president of

corporate development. Before joining Genzyme, Ms. Aspinall was a

director of client services at Hale and Dorr, LLC, and a senior

consultant at Bain and Company. She has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business

School and a B.A. from Tufts University.
