Margaret Behan is a Native American woman who is Arapahoe-Cheyenne and a fifth generation descendant of an ancestor who was a survivor of the Sand Creek Massacre. Behan is a member of the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers - a group of women elders founded at a New Age retreat in 2004.
