Who is Mark B. Templeton?
Mark B. Templeton joined Citrix as vice president for marketing in
1995, and was promoted to president in 1998 and CEO in 1999. Templeton
has led the company’s transformation from a leader in a niche market –
server-based computing – to a global leader in Application Delivery
Infrastructure. Citrix has grown from offering one product about four
years ago to a portfolio of products and solutions that allow
applications to be delivered, shared, and supported on demand with the
best performance, highest security and lowest cost.
More than 200,000 organizations around the world rely on Citrix.
Through Templeton’s vision and the company’s strong execution, Citrix
revenues have grown from $527 million in 2002 to $1.13 billion in 2006.
Templeton is a passionate participant in many community and charitable
organizations, and has received numerous leadership awards.
Templeton holds a BA in product design from North Carolina State
University and an MBA from the Darden School, the University of
Virginia’s graduate school of business.
