Who was Matilda of Savoy?
Matilda of Savoy was a daughter of Amadeo, Prince of Achaea and Catherine of Geneva. She was the second wife of the Elector Palatine Louis III, whom she married on 30 November 1417.
Matilda had the following five children:
⁕Mathilde, married:
⁕in 1434 to Count Louis I of Württemberg
⁕in 1452 to Duke Albrecht VI of Austria
⁕Louis IV, Elector Palatine
⁕Frederick I, Elector Palatine
⁕Rupprecht, Prince-elector archbishop of the Archbishopric of Cologne
⁕Margarete, a nun at Liebenau monastery
