Who was Mehmed Ertuğrul Efendi?
Prince Şehzade Mehmed Ertuğrul Efendi was the only son of Sultan Mehmed VI and his third wife HH Şadiye Müveddet Kadın Efendi. When his father left the empire after the sultanate was been abolished in November 1922, Prince Mehmed went with him into exile.
