Who is Mollie Katzen?

Mollie Katzen is an American chef, cookbook author and artist. She is best known for her vegetarian cookbook, the Moosewood Cookbook, inspired by the Moosewood Restaurant she helped create, but has since left Ithaca, NY and "lived in Berkeley, Calif., for more than two decades." She later authored and illustrated several other best-selling vegetarian cookbooks, including The Enchanted Broccoli Forest, Still Life with Menu, and Vegetable Heaven and Sunlight Cafe; three children's cookbooks
