Who is Morten Østergaard?
Morten Østergaard is the Minister for Taxation since 3 February 2014. A member of the Danish Social Liberal Party, he has been a member of the Folketing since 2005 and from 2011 to 2014, he served as Minister for Research, Innovation and Higher Education in Denmark. He holds a master's degree in political science from the University of Aarhus. He was vice-chairman of the party from 2002 to 2005 and has been a member of parliament since the 2005 election.
