Who was Moses Kinkaid?
Moses Pierce Kinkaid was a member of the United States House of Representatives from Nebraska. He was the sponsor of the 1904 Kinkaid Land Act, which allowed homesteaders to claim up to 640 acres of government land in western Nebraska.
