Who is Mounir El Hamdaoui?

Mounir El Hamdaoui is a Moroccan footballer who plays for Málaga CF in La Liga, on loan from ACF Fiorentina, as a forward or right winger.

He previously played for Excelsior, Tottenham Hotspur, Derby County, Willem II, AZ Alkmaar and Ajax, before joining Fiorentina in 2012. In the 2008–09 Eredivisie, El Hamdaoui was named Dutch Footballer of the Year and became the Eredivisie Top Scorer as AZ Alkmaar won their second league title in their history.

Although being born in the Netherlands and having played for their Under-21 side, El Hamdaoui decided to represent Morocco, for whom he made his debut in February 2009 in a match against the Czech Republic.
