Who is Neal Peters McCurn?
Neal Peters McCurn is a federal judge for the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York. Judge McCurn graduated from Syracuse University with an A.B. in 1950 and Syracuse University College of Law with an LL.B. in 1952. He was nominated to the court by President Jimmy Carter on September 28, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629, confirmed by the United States Senate on October 31, 1979, and received his commission on November 2, 1979. He served as chief judge from 1988 to 1993 and assumed senior status on April 6, 1993.
