Who is Neisser Bent?
Neisser S. Bent Vázquez is a former international backstroke swimmer from Cuba, who swam at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics. At the '96 Games, he won the bronze medal in the 100 m backstroke, just behind fellow countryman Rodolfo Falcón.
At the 1998 Central American and Caribbean Games, he broke the Championship Record in the 200 backstroke. This record stood until the 2006 Games where it was bettered by Barbados' Nick Neckles.
