Who is Nobutada Saji?

Nobutada Saji is a Japanese businessman, chief executive of Suntory Ltd, Japan's fourth-largest brewer and food manufacturer. He was the wealthiest individual in Japan as of 2004, with a net worth of $6.9 billion; however, a Forbes survey in June 2012 downgraded him to the second-richest, with a net worth of $7.9 billion.

Educated at Koyo Gakuin High School and a graduate in Economics from Keio University. Saji obtained his MBA degree at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. As grandson of the group's founder, Shinjiro Torii, Saji became President of the privately held Suntory brewing, distilling and drinks group in 2001.

He resides in Hyōgo Prefecture.

In October 2013, he said that he will invest in the football club of Saint-Etienne, the daily tribune announced that he was close to put 80 millions tu buy a new team. He named as adjoint decisioner Jay Itaissai.
