Who is Odd Iversen?
Odd "Ivers" Iversen is a former Norwegian soccer player.
Iversen is one of the greatest Norwegian footballers ever. He was the top goalscorer four times in the Norwegian top division. He also holds the record of most goals scored in one season. During his career as a footballer he scored 158 goals in the top division; only Petter Belsvik, Harald Martin Brattbakk and Sigurd Rushfeldt have scored more goals.
He has played for Rosenborg, VĂ¥lerenga and Racing Mechelen in Belgium. He has 45 caps and 19 goals for the Norwegian national team.
He was the first Norwegian player in history to get a testimonial match by his club.
Odd Iversen is the father of Steffen Iversen.
