Who is Olavo de Carvalho?
Olavo Luiz Pimentel de Carvalho is a Brazilian philosopher, journalist, and essayist whose interests include mysticism, the history of philosophy, astrology, the history of revolutionary movements, the traditionalist school, comparative religion and philosophical anthropology. He is also well known in Brazil for his conservative political stances, and for being a vehement critic of the political Left.
