Who was Ollie Spencer?
Ollie Spencer, Oliver Lee Simpson, is a former Pro Football tackle who played Eight Professional seasons, Ie : Detroit Lions 1953 & Detroit Lions 1956, Green Bay Packers 1957 & Green Bay Packers 1958, Detroit Lions 1959, Detroit Lions 1960, Detroit Lions 1961, & Final Year Oakland Raiders 1963. With No team Roster Play in 1954, 1955 or 1962. He completed his professional career with the American Football League's Oakland Raiders in 1963.
Later he was an Assistant Coach for the Oakland Raiders for seventeen seasons.
He died on April 28, 1991 of a heart attack.
