Who is Orlando Ruff?
Orlando Bernarda Ruff is a former American football player who played linebacker for the San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns. In college he played for Furman University, departing as the fourth player in school history with 488 career tackles. He was signed in 1999 as a free agent by the San Diego Chargers. He then played for the New Orleans Saints.
Orlando grew up in Winnsboro, SC the youngest of three children. While in Winnsboro he lettered all four years at Fairfield Central High School in Football and Track.Orlando attributes a majority of his athletic success to the close knit environment that Winnsboro, SC provided him with while growing up.
Orlando is currently in his third year of law school and is scheduled to graduate sometime soon. He currently works as a law clerk at Leviton Diaz and Ginocchio in Santa Ana, CA where he helps retired professional athletes obtain workers' compensation, medical benefits and much more once their careers are complete.Essentially, he advocates for the athletes that deserve the representation.
Orlando is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. and is married to the former Azucena Perdomo Nunez.
