Who was Patricia Haines?
Patricia Haines was an English actress.
Born in Sheffield, West Riding of Yorkshire, Haines is best known for her television work. Her credits include: Dixon of Dock Green, Steptoe and Son, The Avengers, Danger Man, Public Eye, The Baron, Softly, Softly, Adam Adamant Lives!, The Champions, The Saint, Department S, Randall and Hopkirk, Up Pompeii!, Emmerdale Farm, Special Branch, The Protectors and Within These Walls.
She met actor Michael Caine, in repertory theatre in Lowestoft, Suffolk. They were married from 1955 to 1962 and had a daughter, Dominique.
Patricia Haines died from lung cancer, on 25 February 1977, aged 45. She was survived by actor Bernard Kay whom she married in 1963.
