Who was Qiu Fazu?

Qiu Fazu, Chinese: 裘法祖, pinyin: Qiú Fǎzǔ was a Chinese surgeon and a saviour of Jewish prisoners. In the People's Republic of China, he is considered the father of modern Chinese surgery.
