Who is Quint Studer?
Quinton D. Studer, formerly the president of Baptist Hospital, is a health care consultant and founder of the Studer Group. He and his wife, Rishy, bought the Pensacola Pelicans in 2002. In 2010 he purchased the Double A Affiliates of the Cincinnati Reds, the Carolina Mudcats. The Mudcats were renamed The Pensacola Blue Wahoos upon arrival in the city. He was one of three principals in the Community Maritime Park project. The park includes a new ballpark rented by Studer's Northwest Florida Professional Baseball for use by the Wahoos. He has been named one of the "Top 100 Most Powerful" by Modern Healthcare. He is also the author of three books including the best seller Results That Last.
