Who is Salisuka?

Salisuka Maurya was a ruler of the Indian Maurya dynasty. He ruled from 215–202 BCE. He was the successor of Samprati Maurya. While Yuga Purana section of the Gargi Samhita mentions him as quarrelsome, unrighteous ruler, he is also called as being of "righteous words" but "unrighteous conduct" due to his patronage of Jainism. According to the Puranas he was succeeded by Devavarman.
