Who is Sam Morsy?

Samy Sayed "Sam" Morsy is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for League One side Chesterfield.

He joined the Port Vale youth set-up in 2008, having been released from the Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy. Winning his debut in February 2010, he turned professional at the club in the summer. He established himself in the first team picture in 2010โ€“11, after which he was given a two-year contract. He helped the club to secure promotion out of League Two in 2012โ€“13. He joined Chesterfield in July 2013, and played for the club in the 2014 final of the Football League Trophy, helping them to win the League Two title in 2013โ€“14.
