Who is Santi Cazorla?

Santiago "Santi" Cazorla González is a Spanish footballer who plays for Arsenal in the Premier League. A versatile attacking midfielder, he can also play as a winger. He is noted for his speed, shooting accuracy, capacity to change the rhythm of gameplay, and excellent close control, and is ranked as the tenth-best footballer in the world by Bloomberg in 2013.

He spent most of his professional career with Villarreal, amassing La Liga totals of 253 games and 39 goals over the course of nine seasons. He also represented in his country Recreativo, where he won the Spanish Footballer of the Year award for the 2006–07 campaign. In 2012, he signed with Arsenal from Málaga, quickly making an impact, slotting seamlessly into the Premier League, scoring 12 goals in his first year with 13 assists, after which he was voted Arsenal Player of the Season.

Cazorla represented Spain at Euro 2008 and Euro 2012, winning both tournaments and gaining more than 60 caps. He has also played at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
