Who is Scott A. Sonnemaker?

Scott A. Sonnemaker serves as Senior Vice President of Operations, Western Region for SYSCO Corporation. He joined SYSCO Corporation in 1996 as director of merchandising, disposables at the corporate office. Previously he has been named executive vice president at Sysco Food Services of Portland, Inc., a SYSCO subsidiary located in Portland, Oregon. He also served as senior vice president of sales, merchandising and marketing at Sysco Food Services of Portland, Inc., Before joining SYSCO, Mr. Sonnemaker was a lieutenant in the United States Navy and held various sales and managerial positions at Mobil Chemical Company for six years. Mr. Sonnemaker, who is a native of Bellevue, Nebraska, earned a bachelor of engineering in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee in 1985 and an MBA from the University of Denver in 1996.
