Who is Scott Garell?

As CEO of IAC Consumer Applications Portals, Scott Garell

oversees operations of the Company's desktop applications, portals and

Evite business. Prior to this role, Garell served as executive vice

president of domestic sites and search, where he managed the Company's

destination sites (Ask.com, iWon, and My Way), as well as the

optimization of its proprietary information retrieval technologies and

products across all brands. Garell joined IAC Search Media in

April 2004 as senior vice president of marketing. Garell came to IAC Search Media from ACCPAC, a subsidiary of

Computer Associates, where as senior vice president of the Small

Business Group, he managed a 60% growth of the Simply Accounting small

business software line. Before Computer Associates, Garell was the CEO

of Smartage.com, a business-to-small-business software company, and

also held various positions at Citysearch (now an operating business of

IAC/InterActiveCorp), including vice president of the Western Region

and general manager/founder of the San Francisco office. Prior to

Citysearch, Garell worked as a brand manager at Clorox, where he

oversaw the $100MM Pine Sol business and drove record growth for the

brand.

Garell holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelors

degree in Political Economy from the University of California at

Berkeley.
