Who is Slobodan Praljak?

Slobodan Praljak is a Croatian politician and writer who served as general in the Croatian Army and the Croatian Defence Council, an army of the Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia. He is among six Croat politicians convicted at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, in relation to war crimes and for ordering the destruction of the Old Bridge in Mostar during the Bosnian War. He was sentenced to 20 years in jail.
