Sotis Volanis a Romani pop folk singer, who scored a significant success in 2002.
Sotis Volanis, was born in Akrolimni, Central Macedonia to Romani parents. After his major debut, his fame slowly declined. His latest work, Tack-Tack, received little or no exposure compared to his first album.
He is best known for the song Poso Mou Leipei, The song has been covered in Hebrew by Shlomi Saranga and Moshik Afia under the title Halom Matok, in Arabic by Fadl Shaker under the title Ya ghayeb, in Turkish by Serdar Ortaç as Beni unut in Serbian by Funky G as Gde si ti and Jelena Karleuša as Nisi u pravu, and in Bulgarian by Azis as Obicham Te. More foreign language covers of this song also exist.
