Who is Suhaimi Sulaiman?

Suhaimi Sulaiman is the Managing Editor of Astro AWANI's 24 hour news and information channel, which operates from the heart of Kuala Lumpur. A senior news anchor and experienced media strategist, he was born in the historical city of Melaka and attended the prestigious Malay College Kuala Kangsar, Kuala Kangsar, Perak. He read Business Administration at the Portland State University before completing his Master in Business Administration at the City University in Bellevue in Washington.

He started his career as a corporate and retail banker at the Bank of Commerce Berhad before joining Media Prima's TV3 where he was for 12 years. He opened his very own Suhaimi Sulaiman Omnimedia Pte Ltd and Suhaimi Sulaiman Communications, before being enticed to join a start-up venture poised to launch Malaysia's first 24 hour news channel Astro Awani.
