Susan Zwinger

Who is Susan Zwinger?

Sue Zwinger is Vice President and Chief Quality Officer for Storage

Products at Sun Microsystems, Inc., responsible for overall customer

satisfaction with Sun's storage product portfolio. In this role, Sue

directs the people and customer advocacy processes supporting storage

product reliability.Since joining Sun in 1996, Zwinger has held

leadership roles in Services and Engineering groups. Most recently, she

led the Corporate Integrated Business Planning initiative to align

Sun's strategy with operational execution.Sue has extensive

experience in the areas of business planning, process excellence,

technical support, education, software development, legal support, and

special projects. Prior to Sun, she worked for high tech companies

including Silicon Graphics, Cray Research, Supercomputer Systems Inc.,

ETA Systems, 3M, and Control Data.Zwinger holds a B.S. degree in

Quantitative Methods and Information Systems (QMIS) from St. Cloud

State University. She earned an international assignment at the Tokyo

Institute of Technology and has received numerous awards for her vision

and leadership. She currently lives in San Diego, California with her

husband and two daughters.
