Who was Temur Cholon?
Temur Cholon was a Mongolian folk music singer. He was noted for his soothing voice and his music which blended traditional Mongolian instruments with more modern influences such as jazz. Cholon was also a social activist, being involved in a number of charitable causes. He died of a heart attack in Ulaanbaatar in 1986.
