Who was Theodore B. Werner?
Theodore B. Werner was a U.S. Democratic politician.
He was born in Ossian, Iowa. He served as the mayor of Rapid City, South Dakota from 1929 to 1930. He was elected to two terms in the United States House of Representatives, representing South Dakota, and served from March 4, 1933 to January 3, 1937. He lost his bid for re-election in 1936 to Francis H. Case. He died at the age of 97 in Rapid City, South Dakota and is buried in Mountain View Cemetery there.
