Who is Therese Zenz?

Therese Zenz is a Saar-born German sprint canoer who competed from the early 1950s to the early 1960s. Competing in three Summer Olympics, she won three silver medals.

She was born in Merzig.

Zenz competed for Saar in the 1952 Summer Olympics and finished ninth in the K-1 500 metres competition. In 1956 and 1960, she competed for the Unified Team of Germany. She later became a coach for the West German team.

Zenz won three medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold and two bronzes.
