Who is Thomas Cordner?
Thomas Cordner joined TriQuint in January 1998 as Vice President and
General Manager, Millimeter Wave Communications as a result of TriQuint's
acquisition of Raytheon's MMIC operations and was promoted to Vice
President, TriQuint Texas in May 2002. In 2006 Mr. Cordner, along with
Texas Vice President Mike Sanna, was charged with combining military
products operations in Bend, OR and Richardson, TX into a single unit.
From July 1997 to January 1998, Mr. Cordner served as Operations Manager
for Raytheon, heading its GaAs MMIC operations. Prior to that time, Mr.
Cordner was an employee of Texas Instruments, a semiconductor and
communications equipment manufacturer, for 32 years, most recently as the
Operations Manager for its GaAs Operations Group from January 1991 to July
1997. Mr. Cordner received a B.S. degree in mathematics from the
University of Texas at Arlington.
