Who is Tiger Fafara?

Lucas "Tiger" Fafara, II, is a former child actor on the Leave It to Beaver sitcom, in which he appeared in eighteen episodes between 1957 and 1960. He is a native of San Francisco, California.

Tiger played the character "Tooey Brown," a friend of Wally Cleaver on the show. He wore distinctive classic Coke bottle lens glasses in the role. Tiger is the older brother of actor Stanley Fafara. Like Tiger, Stanley appeared on Leave it to Beaver in the role of Whitey Whitney.

Fafara grew up in the Los Angeles suburb of Studio City. He and his younger brother Stanley were pushed into acting by their mother.

Besides appearing on Leave It to Beaver, Fafara appeared in episodes of various television series, between 1954 and 1960, including two segments of the CBS western series, My Friend Flicka and in guest-starring roles on The Donna Reed Show and My Three Sons, in the last episode of the first season.

Late in 1957, he appeared in the ABC/Desilu western series, The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, starring Hugh O'Brian in the title role as Wyatt Earp. In the story line, young Fafara plays Benny Burkett, a boy who contracts consumption, a disease which also wracks the man that Benny idolizes, the gambler and gunfightrer, Doc Holliday, played by Douglas Fowley. Holliday and Earp raise money in hopes of treating Benny.
