Who was Toyo Mitunobu?
Toyo Mitunobu, rear-admiral, employed naval Japanese in Italy ; On June 8, 1944 was going to Merano for a naval Lecture of the Three party government, together with his assistant head Yamanaka. In Pianosinatico along the Gothic Line, his car was stopped by XI Zone Patriots, commanded by Manrico "Pippo" Ducceschi, and as he tried to escape, was killed so that many important documents concerning Pacific Ocean war zone were found, permitting later important actions for final victory of US Army.
