Who is Udo Z. Karzi?

Udo Z. Karzi is an Indonesian writer. He graduated from Department of Government Science Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science Universitas Lampung.

He called the original writer Zulkarnain Zubairi write this poem, short story, and essays in various local and national media since 1987. Had become Chairman of the Board of Research and Development of Lampung Art Council.

Considered to bring renewal in the tradition of Lampung poetries as seen in the rhythm-Indonesian bilingual Lampung: Momentum, he called the "father of modern poetry Lampung".

His book of poetry, Mak Dawah Mak Dibingi won the 2008 Rancage Literary Award for Lampung literature.

His other books, Etos Kita: Moralitas Kaum Intelektual, Teknokra: Jejak Langkah Pers Mahasiswa, Mamak Kenut: Orang Lampung Punya Celoteh, and Feodalisme Modern: Wacana Kritis tentang Lampung dan Kelampungan.
