Who was Umihana Čuvidina?
Umihana Čuvidina was an Ottoman Bosniak poetess and the earliest Bosnian female author whose work survives to this day. Čuvidina sang her poems and contributed greatly to the traditional genre of Bosniak folk music, sevdalinka.
