Who is Veselin Vujović?

Veselin Vujović is a former Yugoslav handball player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics and in the 1988 Summer Olympics. During his career he played for RK Metaloplastika Šabac, Barcelona and Granollers. With RK Metaloplastika he won two handball champions league and one with FC Barcelona Handbol. He was first player to receive title of the IHF World Player of the Year.

In 1984 he was a member of the Yugoslav handball team which won the gold medal. He played all six matches and scored 28 goals. Four years later he was part of the Yugoslav team which won the bronze medal. He played all six matches again and scored 29 goals.

In 1986 he is named as the best athlete of Yugoslavia.

He is former manager of RK Vardar PRO, a handball club in Skopje, Macedonia.
