Who was Vladimir Romanovsky?
Vladimir Romanovsky was a Soviet sprint canoer who competed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He won two medals at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal with a gold in the K-2 1000 m and a silver in the K-2 500 m events.
Romanovsky also won three medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with two golds and a bronze.
