Who is Wayne Seybold?

Wayne Seybold is the mayor of Marion, Indiana and a former American pair skater. He competed with his sister Natalie Seybold. The duo captured a pair of silver medals at the U.S. Championships and competed at the 1988 Winter Olympics. Seybold is a Christian.

Since retiring from skating, Seybold returned to his hometown of Marion, Indiana. In 2003, Seybold was elected mayor, running as a Republican. Seybold won re-election to the mayor's office in 2007 and 2011.

On February 9, 2012, Wayne Seybold announced that he was running for the 5th District Congressional seat currently held by Dan Burton. Seybold finished fourth in the Republican primary.
