Who was Wen Yanbo?

Wen Yanbo, formal name Wen Dalin but went by the courtesy name of Yanbo, formally Duke Gong of Yu, was a key official early in the Chinese dynasty Tang Dynasty as a key advisor for Emperor Gaozu and Emperor Taizong, serving as a chancellor during Emperor Taizong's reign, and, having been captured by and lived among the people of Eastern Tujue for years, was a key advisor on Emperor Taizong's policies toward Tujue.
