Who is William Bradford Willcox?

William Bradford Willcox was an American historian. He received his B.A. from Cornell University in 1928, a B.F.A. from Yale University in 1932, and his Ph.D. in 1936 from Yale, where he won the John Addison Porter Prize for best work of scholarship in a given year.
